The puma has 40 names such as mountain lion or cougar. The puma can get up to 6 feet in length and 100-200 pounds. The puma can jump up to 40 feet and the tail is 50-80 centimeters plus the puma is the 2nd largest cat in America. And did you know the Florida puma is critically endangered and there are less then 50 of the species left. Altogether the puma raise is not in danger the individual species are endangered. Pulse even though the puma is hunted in the west the main cause of death is hunting where hunting is legalized. The puma lives in Florida Canada and the southwest part of South America and there have been people who have said they saw the puma in states such as Massachusetts and Vermont. The puma lives in many different habitats such as habitats such as Swamps Mountains and forests. Although there are several pumas all over the world the population is scarce in the east coast of North America. The puma hunts alone day or night and its diet manly consists of deer sheep rodents and hairs (rabbits). Pumas are hated by farmer because when the puma gets hungry and is enabled to hunt it goes after live stoke. The puma uses sight and sound more then sent. When the time is write the puma pounces onto the pray in bounds of 40 feet.
