Strange Science

Scientists didn't always know that dinosaurs lived on earth, and at times they had some pretty strange ideas about the existence of creatures like sea monsters and dragons. But the knowledge they gathered, whether right or wrong, helped us come to understand what we know today.
Strange Science gives examples of some of the mistakes scientists made, and includes a timeline of significant historical and scientific events. Also featured are dozens of biographies of the scientists, artists and collectors who helped us understand more about ourselves and the world around us, and resources you can use to learn more.
